HUBUNGAN LAMA PEMAKAIAN KONTRASEPSI PIL DENGAN HASIL SKRINING INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT PADA AKSEPTOR PIL

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the most common type of cancer experienced by women in  developing countries. One of the risk factors for cervical cancer is the use of old oral contraceptives and screening efforts that can be used to detect cervical cancer as early as possible is Visual Inspection  with  Acetic  Acid screening.

The research design was analytic observational with crosssectional approach in Siantar sub-district in May-September 2017. Research subject was 46 acceptors. Data analysis used Fisher test with 95%  (⍺ = 0,05).

The results showed that oral contraceptive acceptors who had cervical inflammation 19.56%. There was a correlation between the duration of oral contraceptive use and the result of  VIA  (p <0,05). There  was  no  age  correlation with VIA (p=>0,05) no married age correlation  with VIA (p=>0,05), no BMI correlation with VIA (p=>0,05 ). Duration use of oral contraceptive related to result of VIA examination so that need to begiven education about oral contraceptves and motivation for VLA screening as an  effort to early detection of cervical cancer.

Kanker serviks merupakan jenis terbanyak yang dialami oleh wanita di negara berkembang. Salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya kanker serviks adalah penggunaan kontrasepsi pil yang lama. Upaya skrining yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi kanker serviks adalah IVA. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan lama pemakaian kontrasepsi pil dengan hasil skrining IVA.

Rancangan penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional di Kecamatan Siantar pada bulan Mei-September 2017. Subjek penelitian sebesar 46 akseptor. Analisis data menggunakan uji Fisher dengan CI 95% (⍺=0,05).

Akseptor kontrasepsi pil yang mengalami radang serviks sebesar 19,56%. Ada hubungan antara lama pemakaian kontrasepsi pil dengan hasil pemeriksaan IVA (p<0,05). Tidak ada hubungan umur dengan hasil pemeriksaan IVA (p>0,05), tidak ada hubungan umur menikah dengan hasil pemeriksaan IVA (p>0,05), tidak ada hubungan IMT dengan hasil pemeriksaan IVA (p>0,05).

Perlu diberikan edukasi tentang kontrasepsi pil dan motivasi untuk pemeriksaan IVA sebagai upaya deteksi dini kanker serviks.
